The chief physician Dr Purandare has almost 20 years of experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology having training in Ireland and the UK and sub-specialising in reproductive medicine in the Rotunda hospital in Dublin.

About the chief physician:

Dr Nikhil Purandare graduated from Medical College in 2002. His training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Ireland started in Galway. He subsequently worked at the Rotunda Hospital under the then Master, Prof. Michael Geary. Having completed the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (2007), he was admitted into the specialist registrar-training programme. He subsequently completed the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG), the UK in 2008. He was awarded the CCST (Completion of Training) in 2013. He has many research publications on ways to improve pregnancy rates and also in the field of early pregnancy loss.

Dr Nikhil Purandare was recently awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Australian and New Zealand College. He has won numerous awards including the Young Gynaecologist award (AOFOG, New Zealand) and Laparoscopic Olympiad Award 2011 (Ireland) and is regularly invited as a guest speaker at international conferences.
