Being ill during pregnancy carries a higher risk of a severe course and potentially significant complications for the pregnant woman and child. According to the Czech Vaccinological Society, COVID-19 also increases the risk of preterm birth and other perinatal complications. Therefore, we advise all patients to undergo any form of vaccination against COVID-19, i.e. two-dose or single-dose, before starting the stimulation and therapy.

A similar recommendation applies to the partners of patients, who are also advised to undergo vaccination, but at least one month in advance of the start of therapy, for better sperm quality.

The opinion of our doctors meets with the recommendation of the Czech Society of Vaccinology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ČVS) and also with the opinion of many other domestic and foreign professional societies, for example, the ESHRE and the ASMR.
